Best Star Wars Autograph Gets

It’s here. It’s officially Star Wars Day.

“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” opens in theaters Thursday. The saga that started with George Lucas’ vision and starred Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford in 1977 will conclude after nine films (not including standalone movies) over 40 years.

“Star Wars” has long held a huge portion of the collectable industry, and this is especially true for autographs.

With that in mind, let’s check in with Steve Grad, resident Star Wars expert and Principal Authenticator for Beckett Authentication Services, to see whose autograph is must-have in the Star Wars universe.

5. John Williams. Grad says: “Created the music for this entire franchise.”

4. George Lucas. Grad says: “The creator of this all. If you don’t have this man in your collection you need to add him.”

3. Mark Hamill. Grad says: “Luke Skywalker’s signature has increased in value through the years and he’s a main cast member.”

2. Carrie Fisher. Grad says: “Her early death was a tragedy but has also propelled SW Autograph collecting to a new level.”

1. Harrison Ford. Grad says: “He’s the most valuable living cast member and the key piece to most people’s Star Wars Collections.”

There you go. Consider each one of these signatures an essential piece of any Star Wars collection.

And remember, you can save $10 on a $50 submission or $25 off a $100 order this month by using code: DecemberSavings.

You can also get ½ off authentication fees normally $100 or more until Dec. 26. Use code “Holiday” on the submission form. See site for full details.
